My plan to get Tusayan tax dollars to you is the right thing to do and IT IS LEGAL. Shortly after I proposed my plan to give each Tusayan resident a portion of the Town surpluses the current Mayor, with the help of the Town Attorney who is paid with your tax dollars, tried to shut down my proposal calling it illegal. They are WRONG. That is the legal opinion of Terry Goddard, a former Arizona Attorney General and former Phoenix Mayor. Tusayan has millions in surplus dollars and it continues to generate millions more. That’s why I am proposing a onetime payment to Tusayan residents of $6,000 and future payments of $3,000, depending on the economy.
