Dear Fellow Tusayan Resident:
Since taking office I have worked to improve the quality of life for those who live and work in Tusayan. Returning excess taxpayer dollars to benefit YOU tops that list.
I fought hard to get COVID relief tax dollars directly to those who work in Tusayan. More than $500 each was given to those who applied. My opponent Vice Mayor Brady Harris opposed this idea.
Harris and two other council members also oppose my plan to use part of Tusayan’s huge $8 million surplus for direct payments to the people who live or work in Tusayan. Councilman Greg Brush agrees with me, but that’s not a majority.
My plan will likely have majority support if you re-elect me as the makeup of the council is changing.
Tax dollars should benefit you, the people. Instead of this, my opponent supports an unnecessary plan to spend as much as $8 million to buy and repair an aging water system from a powerful developer.
Money for you or a rich developer? I think the choice is obvious and easy.
